TAAF Winter Games of Texas Returning to Pearland, January 18-20, 2020
| For amateur athletes one of the biggest sporting events of the year, the 2020 Texas Amateur Athletic Federation (TAAF) Winter Games, will take place in Pearland January 18-20. The TAAF Winter Games are patterned after the Olympics with adult and youth competitions in various sports categories. Individual and team competitions will be held at sports venues and ball parks thanks in large part to a partnership with the Pearland Independent School District. Game categories include; archery, basketball, flag football, gymnastics, karate, kickball, lacrosse, pickleball, powerlifting, soccer, softball, swimming and tennis. An admission fee is required to basketball, gymnastics, karate, powerlifting and swimming events. All other events are free admission for spectators.
